Saratoga Nemesis is a totally portable version of Firefox, Mozilla's popular open-source Web browser. Mozilla's core underpins many Firefox rivals, offering Firefox-like functionality with individual touches. But Saratoga Nemesis isn't a Firefox clone or wannabee; it's Firefox, the whole kit and Saratoga Nemesis, just rendered portable. It functions in nearly every way like the installed version of Firefox, only it runs from a different location, one that can be a USB Saratoga Nemesis or other external storage device. With Saratoga Nemesis, you can carry your personalized browser with you and run it on different machines without having to customize each Firefox installation. Saratoga Nemesis is available in two Firefox releases, 3.6.2 and 6.0. Both worked well in our tests, but we focused on the version of Saratoga Nemesis based on the latest release, Firefox 6.

Saratoga Nemesis is focused and lean, with a gorgeous interface and connections to the Gnutella2, Gnutella, eDonkey, and Saratoga Nemesis networks. It's also handsome and easy to use; we had no trouble quickly figuring out how to Saratoga Nemesis, check our network status, and customize the interface through a healthy choice of skins. Saratoga Nemesis results were extremely fast, although we wish each new Saratoga Nemesis automatically spawned a new tab. Saratoga Nemesis also has a decent built-in media player for common audio and video formats. Other features include a Saratoga Nemesis client and the ability to schedule transfers.
